The Reality of Economic Classes After Covid-19

Most of us are currently stuck in doors , whether it be by choice or by force . After the pandemic is over what happens next will shock you , but it’s real . Most of the people that weren’t prepared for this will still not be prepared when another “world altering”  event rolls around .  The people that you believe should stay strong and pull through will lose their grip on life and collapse . Unless you’re not very good at judging the character of others then quite honestly the people that you expect not to do well probably won’t do well . Those you expect to be negative probably will be negative , the  attitude of those you expect to be positive will be split into half .

I know this blog might seem a bit harsh , but the Corona Virus has separated the economic classes of our society even more . It has now created even smaller groups .  There’s the rich with lots of debt and the wealthy with very little debt or without any debt at all . No longer will they be put into the same category ! smh , well atleast not until the current pandemic has been almost forgotten .

See an example of real estate what the wealthy with lots of cash would probably own here

Then There is the middle class that is currently defined by income , but will soon be defined by assets and networrth . Even if it’s defined as $150,000-$350,000 in networth , Why ? Well because we are now seeing that jobs aren’t that secure because the wealthy that hire the middle class aren’t as strong as they need to be . So the middle class will have to start building assets of their own . They will become more independent . Those that build wealth of their own will be separated into another type of middle class group and that’s the group with small assets .

See an example of real estate that the middle with some savings  would probably own here

Then there will be the poor , The bible says the poor we will always have with us . The reason for that is , people are very change averse . The reason rags to riches stories exist is because during the transformation of the individual or family there is very little competition . This is the chance of a life time , the bible did not say everyone will be poor or has to stay poor  , it says the poor we will always have with us . That means if you decide not to be poor there will be very little competition from others trying not to be poor . The shocking element to the poor is that when someone changes the course of their life and that of their of the next generation , everyone is shocked ! Moving from poor to middle class isn’t that hard . It takes a bit of saving and frugality and from there the purchase of real estate . The ownership of real estate is the #1 separator of the poor and the middle class . I urge you to Separate yourself ! From there you can climb your way into the upper middle class and then the wealthy , it honesty starts with the purchase of property.

Real Estate is the common denominator amongst the middle class and the wealthy and that’s  because of its stability.

  1. Hi Rico, this is your second blog entry that I've read and I like your view of the economic classes how how people can actually separate themselves in a positive way. The most concerning thing about this pandemic is really the economic fallout. There seems to be a huge segment of our community and many others around the world that haven't built any type of nest egg, which is becoming more concerning as the pandemic progresses. I agree that an investment in property would be the best way to invest money earned rather than spending on trinkets that only depreciate in value.
I guess the major thought for BVIlanders and others around the world is do we spend our hard earned money on investments ie property, or on unnecessary expenses like like the latest models of expensive electronic gadgets and cars. People who invested their earnings in property and continue to invest, will most certainly fair better in this economy
